Dane Springmeyer is a talented individual with a diverse background in mapping, programming, and climbing. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager of the Core Tech team at Mapbox, Dane brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to the table.

Dane's educational journey is marked by his deep interest in Cartography and Ornithology, which he studied as a Fellow at the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Biology from Middlebury College, showcasing his dedication to exploring the intersection of science and geography.

Within the professional realm, Dane has made significant contributions as the Head of Developer Tools on the Platform team at Mapbox. His role has allowed him to leverage his expertise in mapping technologies and programming to enhance the developer experience and drive innovation within the company.
