Dana Moran is a seasoned experience design professional with a passion for human-centered design solutions. With a background in English and Creative Writing from Penn State University, Moran went on to earn certifications in Art Education and Digital Publishing. She also studied User Experience Design and Front End Web Development at Thinkful.
Moran has worked in a variety of organizations, including Slalom, ITX Corp., XPO Logistics, Inc., and Compass Group, holding roles such as Solution Principal, Senior Interaction Designer, and UX Designer, Level III. She has also worked as a contract web designer, digital arts educator, and graphic designer for various companies, including Dana Moran Design, Alexander Isley Inc., Carter Cosgrove + Co., and Brouillard Communications.
Throughout her career, Moran has demonstrated a commitment to uncovering the "why" behind design decisions, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and simplifying complex problems through lean UX principles. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to product management, leading and mentoring teams to deliver delightful solutions backed by research.
