Dana Hanson

Dana Hanson, a resident of MA-04 and Newton MA, is a dynamic individual deeply involved in community activities and events. With a background in Environmental Science and Engineering from top institutions like Harvard School of Public Health and Brown University, Dana brings a blend of academic knowledge and practical skills to the table.

Having served in various leadership roles, including District Director at the United States Congress and Director of Community Engagement & Inclusion at the City of Newton Mayor’s Office, Dana has a wealth of experience in community organizing. This experience is further demonstrated through roles such as Board Member at Auburndale Community Library and as a Campaign Co-Chair for a mayoral candidate.

Dana's commitment to education is evident through past roles such as PTO Co-President at FA Day Middle School and PTO Co-President/Event Chair at Burr Elementary School. Additionally, Dana's involvement with organizations like the Newton Free Library and the Burr Cooperative Nursery School showcases a dedication to supporting educational institutions and community initiatives.
