Dana Chong Tim is an experienced professional with a strong background in leadership, collaborating with non-profit and government organizations for over 28 years, with a focus on serving communities and creating a positive impact.
With a robust educational foundation, Dana pursued a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services/Law Enforcement from Thomas Edison State College.
In terms of professional experience, Dana has held various significant roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including serving as SAC (Special Agent in Charge), ASAC (Assistant Special Agent in Charge), Assistant Federal Security Director-Law Enforcement, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge (ATSAC), Training Officer/Training Instructor, and Federal Law Enforcement personnel.
Prior to the roles at the Department of Homeland Security, Dana has served as a Detective Sergeant at the Police Department County of Hawaii and as a Police Officer at the Honolulu Metropolitan Police Department.
