Dana Murchison

Dana Albright Murchison is the Head of Programs at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa, Ontario.12 She oversees the development and implementation of educational programs, including virtual school workshops and hands-on exhibits.13 Murchison has been involved in creating curriculum-linked school programming, such as the "Connected through Minerals" edukit for students in Grades 4 through 7.3 Her role includes adapting museum offerings to meet changing needs, as demonstrated by the pivot to virtual workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic.15 Prior to her current position, Murchison worked at Science North, where she developed hands-on exhibits and public programs for the human body exhibit area and the TD Canada Trust Toddler's Treehouse.4
