Dan Wilhelm

Dan Wilhelm is the founder of Supervised Software LLC, a company specializing in solving complex problems in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data science, and software architecture. Based in West Hollywood, California, he has a robust background in both technology and neuroscience, having developed a passion for coding from an early age. Wilhelm holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, where he also pursued additional studies in brain science, completing 23 extra courses related to biology and psychology.

He furthered his education at the California Institute of Technology, where he engaged in PhD research focused on algorithms that synthesize circuits to realize specific probability distributions, which are foundational to many AI applications today.1

Before founding Supervised Software LLC in April 2020, Wilhelm co-founded Hyphos Inc., a startup that developed recommendation systems, and operated his own consulting firm since 2012. He has also served as a distinguished faculty member at General Assembly, where he taught data science and machine learning to corporate clients globally.12

Wilhelm's career reflects a blend of academic rigor and practical application, with extensive experience delivering workshops and professional talks internationally. His work has involved collaboration with various notable companies and research labs, showcasing his expertise in both theoretical and applied aspects of technology.
