Dan Sahm

Dr. Dan Sahm is a highly educated professional with a background in microbiology and immunology.

He completed his BS in Biology at Allegheny College, followed by a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Sahm furthered his education with a Post Doctoral Residency in Clinical and Public Health Microbiology at the prestigious Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

His career has been marked by key leadership roles in renowned organizations.

Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Global Microbiology Services & Chief Scientific Officer at IHMA.

Prior to this role, he held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Eurofins Global Infectious Disease Services at Eurofins.

Dr. Sahm's expertise was also valued at Washington University in St. Louis, where he held the title of Director of Clinical Microbiology and Associate Professor of Pathology.

In addition, he contributed to the field at UChicago Medicine, serving as an Associate Professor of Pathology and Co-Director of Clinical Microbiology Laboratories.
