Dan Pierson is a seasoned adventurer who splits his time between developing real estate in Oaxaca, Mexico, and leading Pierson Expeditions, an adventure travel company with 15+ years of experience across all continents except Antarctica.
Prior to his current roles, Pierson founded Bolt Travel which was later acquired by Unsettled, where he served as the Chief Marketing Officer. He has also established various startups in the travel and hospitality sector, managed travel partnerships for Lyft, consulted for Airbnb, and organized live experiences for prestigious entities like the Rockefeller Foundation.
With diverse experience ranging from seed-stage venture capital to organizing successful events, Pierson's journey has been marked by a dedication to maximizing time and making meaningful experiences a priority. He has explored over 50 countries, engaged in extensive adventures like cross-country bicycle trips and lengthy walks, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Pierson's belief in abundance and community growth extends to both personal and professional realms, with a focus on expanding opportunities for everyone involved.
In terms of education, Pierson attended Horace Greeley High School for his high school studies and earned a BA in History from Tulane University.
