Dan Niemiec is an accomplished professional with a background in sports administration and economics. He graduated from Northwestern University with a Master of Arts in Sports Administration and as an economics major with an Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate. He has leveraged his education and experience in various roles at the Western Golf Association / Evans Scholars Foundation, where he currently serves as Vice President of Programs, Strategy, and Development.
Prior to this role, he worked his way up from Lead Development Analyst to Manager of Operations & Special Projects, Director of Operations & Special Projects, and most recently, Senior Director of Operations & Special Projects. Through his tenure, he has demonstrated skill in operations management, project management, fundraising, program development, strategy, and leadership.
Dan Niemiec's accomplishments extend beyond his professional work. He is an active member of his community, serving on the Board of Directors for The First Tee of Greater Chicago and the Illinois Golf Course Owners Association Political Action Committee. He is also a volunteer for various organizations, including the Northern Illinois Food Bank, United Way, and the Special Olympics.
