Daniel Neil is an accomplished leader with expertise and passion for bringing transformative technologies to the world. With a foundation in biomedical computation from Stanford University, a graduate degree in neural systems and computation from ETH Zurich, and a Ph.D. in machine learning algorithms from the Institute of Neuroinformatics in Zurich, he has extensive knowledge and experience in cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, NLP, and precision medicine. As the Head of AI and NY Site Lead at BenevolentAI, he leads the organization's mission to invent new and better medicines using AI / ML technologies to transform the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining BenevolentAI, Daniel worked as a consultant in Silicon Valley and founded The Founder Institute. He was also a research assistant at Stanford University's Neurogrid and Kyoto Sangyo University's Neuroscience departments.
