Dan Miller is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. He serves as CFO/COO of MassCare, a position that enables him to drive the company's overall business strategy and oversee its finance and technology operations. But Mr. Miller's expertise extends far beyond MassCare, as he is also Managing Director of SeedBoom, a management consulting and early-stage investment firm, and partner at BurgFitness. With a vast range of skills and experiences, Mr. Miller uses his unique insights to help other entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
Before joining SeedBoom, Mr. Miller co-founded and served as CEO of MOVO Mobile. This innovative company was a leading provider of mobile marketing solutions, which it offered to brands and agency partners. INgage Networks acquired MOVO in 2006, expanding the latter's services into Enterprise Social Networking--a testament to Mr. Miller's market instincts and expertise.
Early in his career, Mr. Miller founded PlanetResume, an internet recruitment advertising service that pioneered in the IT marketplace. PlanetResume was a booming and profitable company with regional offices in Boston, Washington DC, Charlotte, and San Francisco. Clients included top organizations such as State Street Bank, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Cerent Corp, and Charles Schwab. The company merged with CareerShop.com in 1999 and later joined Personnel Group of America after it merged firms with the former. Before founding PlanetResume, Mr. Miller was a Principal and Senior VP of Sales & Marketing of Software House, Inc, the top provider of facility access control security systems sold across the globe.
Mr. Miller's academic achievements are also noteworthy. He studied BA at Brandeis University and CE at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. Miller resides in St Petersburg, FL, and loves biking, fitness, and eating along the Gulf Coast.
