Dan Hootman

Dan Hootman is a highly educated and experienced individual with a diverse professional background in the healthcare industry. He studied at Emory University and Texas A&M University, obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration in Organization and Management, Economics, and his Doctor of Medicine degree, among others. Currently, he serves as the Senior Project Manager at Houston Methodist, and has held several managerial roles including Education and Service Quality Manager, and Administrative Fellow. Additionally, he has served as a Graduate Student at Emory University, Management Intern at Emory Healthcare, and Residence Hall Director / Student Health Fellow at Emory University. He also worked as a Research Program Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, demonstrating his experience in both academia and the private sector as well.

Throughout his career, Dan has demonstrated expertise in health management and research program management, as well as service quality management and education program management. With a passion for public health, he has studied it extensively and honed his skills through Emory's Rollins School of Public Health. As a Senior Project Manager, he must utilize his organizational, communication, and leadership skills to oversee various healthcare projects at Houston Methodist. His diverse background in healthcare has given him a unique perspective on the industry, allowing him to effectively manage and oversee healthcare projects.
