Direct responsibility for P&L of $125MM, sales, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, safety and 	quality. Implemented KPI's to drive efficiencies. Properly sized labor force to match business demand. Focused 	marketing and R&D effort to drive innovative domestic and imported products using "Stagegate" process. 	Priorities included new products, designs, colors, construction and textures. Collaborated with Board of 	Directors to meet business goals. Utilized lean manufacturing fundamentals to match capacity with demand.
•	Tripled EBITDA (to 10%) and increased gross margin by 10% from 2013 to 2015.  
•	Improved inventory turns by 50%, reduced manufacturing/distribution footprints by 33% and improved labor efficiency by 30%.
•	Responsible for $4MM annual cost savings through consolidation and sale of underutilized plant. 
•	Increased Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by 5%. 
•	$4MM in annual cost savings through successful negotiation of four labor union contracts.
•	Generated $2.5MM per year in cost savings through raw material savings, labor efficiencies, consolidation and automation

General Business Manager

Led 2,000 employees located in 11 factories and eight distribution centers. Control $100M budget with shared P&L responsibility. Redesigned production to support record sales. Set Lean processes. Established proactive quality processes.

Highlights: Capacity could not match demand with 25% annual growth. Redefined work flow and production processes through series of value stream mapping and kaizen. Improved plant utilization and boosted production capacity by 143%. Enabled company to move shipments from $150M to $215M in two years.

* Cost reporting was unacceptable due to lack of detail in cost system. Instituted Bill of Material methods and equipment effectiveness metrics to match production results to financial reports. Reduced waste and downtime by 10%. 

* Implemented processes to overcome market turndown pressures. Eldorado Stone faced stiff recession blowback. Oversaw Lean, Kaizan and WIP improvements. Dramatically reduced waste, improved quality results and boosted productivity. Systematically reduced largest source of downtime, set new yield structure and secured better capital budget results.
