Dan Fang

Dan Fang is a research scientist with a strong background in chemistry and electrochemistry. He worked at CarbonCapture Inc. from November 2019 to January 2023, where he contributed to research initiatives focused on carbon capture technologies.

Professional Experience

Prior to his role at CarbonCapture Inc., Dan held several positions:

• Research Scientist at ObEN, Inc. (March 2018 - November 2019), where he worked on blockchain technology applications.
• Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where he was involved in optimizing catalysts for methanol fuel cells.
• He also has experience from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and various research roles in nanotechnology and photocatalysis.

In addition to his research, Dan is currently involved in venture capital as an investor and has held positions with several investment firms since 2023. He has a diverse skill set that includes expertise in materials science, catalysis, and technology commercialization.1
