Dan Boothby

Dan Boothby is the Director of Sports Performance at Northeastern University, a position he has held since September 2015.2 He has been with Northeastern University for over 15 years, starting in 2005 as the Director of Player Development for the men's and women's ice hockey teams.1 Throughout his tenure, Boothby has held various roles, including Director of Strength and Conditioning in 2009 before being promoted to his current position.1
Boothby's responsibilities include overseeing strength, conditioning, and nutrition for both men's and women's hockey teams, as well as assisting in team building and organization.3 He works closely with a staff of athletic trainers, physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and medical staff to provide comprehensive care and support for all Northeastern athletes.1
In addition to his work at Northeastern, Boothby is the co-founder of Boothby Performance, a sports performance training center in Hingham, Massachusetts, which focuses on developing youth, collegiate, and professional athletes.1 He is also the founder of Athlogic LLC, a position he has held since May 2010.2
Boothby has contributed to the field of sports performance through presentations at various events and seminars, including BSMPG, NSCA, and USA Hockey.1 He has also been involved in creating symposiums and summits related to sports performance, held annually at Northeastern between 2008 and 2015.1
