Dan Armsden

Dan Armsden is the Co-Founder and CEO of Crewdentials, a company he established in March 2020.1 Crewdentials is a crew data and compliance platform that digitalizes the processes associated with collecting, verifying, and managing seafarer credentials.1

With a background in the maritime industry, Dan has extensive experience in yacht and crew management. Prior to founding Crewdentials, he held several positions at Sarnia Yachts, including:

• Head of Crew Services & Yacht Technical (December 2018 - September 2019)
• Yacht & Crew Technical Manager (January 2012 - November 2018)
• Senior Client Services Officer (January 2011 - December 2011)1

Dan's career in the maritime sector began as a Deckhand / Assistant Engineer on M/Y Maldine, where he participated in an Atlantic crossing and cruised various locations including Florida, Bermuda, Madeira, and the Mediterranean.1

Dan describes himself as someone who loves to understand how things work and how they can be improved. He applies this approach to various aspects of life, from maintaining his bikes to addressing industry-wide problems. His goal is to make things easy and efficient.1

Personal Interests

Outside of his professional life, Dan enjoys outdoor activities with his family and friends. He is a keen triathlete, kitesurfer, and surfer.1
