Damon L. Williams, Jr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in academic and corporate settings.
Currently the Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at Northwestern University, he oversees strategic planning for faculty, post-doctoral trainees, and graduate students, ensuring a culture of inclusivity across the university.
Prior to joining Northwestern, Damon held key positions at Emory University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and other prestigious organizations, where he spearheaded efforts in recruitment and retention of underrepresented minority students.
His commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned him various accolades, including recognition from Black Enterprise Magazine and Xavier University's Top 40 under 40 Award.
