Damien Vanderwilt is a highly experienced financial professional who has made a name for himself in the digital asset, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology sectors. As Co-President and Head of Global Markets at Galaxy Digital, a regulated and publicly traded financial institution serving as a bridge between the institutional and digital asset worlds, Damien works alongside founder and CEO Mike Novogratz to build the world's pre-eminent full-service institutional Investment Bank.

Prior to his current position, Damien spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs as a Partner in the Global Markets business in four different geographies, including Sydney, Hong Kong, London, and New York. Damien has extensive experience spanning investing, portfolio management, capital markets and advisory, venture capital, asset management, and blockchain technology.

Throughout his career, Damien has managed execution, sales, trading, and technology teams at scale. He is passionate about markets, client partnership & satisfaction, disruption, and driving more efficient and effective processes through technology. Damien has built extensive senior relationships with many of the largest market participants, exchanges, venues, technology providers, and regulators around the world.
