Damien Mauberger

Damien Mauberger is a professional with a diverse background in energy trading, portfolio management, and sales. He began his career in 2008 at EON (now UNIPER) as a pricer and portfolio manager specializing in industrial consumer needs. His expertise lies in hedging power and gas consumption on the wholesale market, from long-term strategies to short-term balancing.

In 2012, Damien joined SNCF ENERGIE to establish an independent entity focused on hedging the energy requirements of SNCF. This role involved creating a balancing perimeter with RTE, negotiating contracts, accessing market platforms like Powernext, developing IT solutions, and refining hedging strategies.

Following his passion for adventure, Damien embarked on a sailing journey around the world with his wife in 2015, crossing oceans and visiting exotic locations like Tahiti and New Zealand. After settling in New Caledonia for three years, he served as the Deputy Sales Director for a telecommunications integrator before returning to France in search of new professional opportunities.

Damien Mauberger's educational background includes studying EPEX Spot Trader Certificate through EPEX e-learning, earning a degree in Engineering with a focus on Energy from École Centrale de Lyon, and completing his secondary education at Lycée Janson de Sailly.

His previous roles include Portfolio Manager at MyLight Systems, Deputy Sales Director at INTELIA, Captain during his sailing voyage, and various positions at SNCF ENERGIE and E.ON France.
