Dakota Sullivan

Dakota Sullivan is the Chief Executive Officer of Doc Patels CBD, a position he has held since late 2020. He co-founded and previously served as CEO of Calyx Brands, a leading wholesale distributor of cannabis edibles in California, which achieved over $20 million in sales in 2019 and catered to more than 500 retail accounts.1

Before his venture into the cannabis industry, Sullivan had a robust career in mobile advertising technology. He was Senior Vice President for the Americas at Amobee, a global mobile ad tech firm acquired by SingTel for $320 million in 2012. His earlier roles included significant positions at Velti, where he contributed to a $150 million NASDAQ IPO, and BlueLithium, an online advertising network acquired by Yahoo! for $300 million.1

Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Business from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also studied Marketing, Management, and Advertising at the School of Visual Arts. His expertise encompasses general management, sales and marketing, product development, and entrepreneurship, making him a seasoned leader in guiding companies through various growth phases.
