She holds an impressive educational background, including Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Health with a specialization in Health Policy & Management, and an MS in Molecular Genetics & Microbiology. Deirdre has worked with renowned organizations such as Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Amgen in senior leadership positions and played an active role in advocating and implementing the Affordable Care Act (ACA), biopharmaceutical drug commercialization, coverage, reimbursement, pricing, and value-based care arrangements.
