Emma Philips is a London-based partner at LocalGlobe, one of the top investors in London's most ambitious startups at the seed stage and beyond. Emma holds a Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Loughborough University. She was also awarded a Diploma in International Studies in Environmental Studies from Curtin University of Technology.
Before joining LocalGlobe, Emma served as Co-founder at Meals For The NHS and was a member of the Early Stage Advisory Group at SVB Financial Group. She additionally worked at Veolia, where she held several positions, including Technical Co-ordinator, Business Operations Manager, and Graduate Analyst. Emma was part of the EU Internal Ecosystem Builders and was previously Operations Director at LocalGlobe.
Emma's experience in business operations, ecosystem building, and environmental studies provided her with a broad skill set to help entrepreneurs develop and grow their projects. As a Partner at LocalGlobe, Emma's mission is to support individuals and businesses building the future of London's economy.
