John Bauer

John Bauer is a highly accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in corporate legal and regulatory affairs.

He holds a J.D. in Law from The George Washington University Law School and a H.B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from Marquette University.

Currently, John serves as the Vice President and General Counsel/Leader of Corporate Legal and Audit Services at The RiverStone Group.

Prior to this role, he held several leadership positions, including Vice President and Leader of Corporate Legal at The RiverStone Group, Chief Counsel of Regulatory Affairs at NAIC, and SVP & Sr. Legal Counsel at Swiss Re.

John also has experience as the Global Compliance Counsel at GE Insurance Solutions and as an Associate Counsel at NAIC.
