- Principal Software Development Engineer in Oracle’s Private Cloud Appliance Team. Responsible for end to end software feature /functionality deliverable from architecture, design, documentation, implementation and TOI to support/sustaining team.
-  Experience working on data center switches such as Arista, Juniper QFX and Cisco Nexus switches and cloud virtualization technology such as Kubernetes & Docker Container etc.
-  Played a critical role in implementation of next generation ethernet based networking solution for PCA 2.4.1 release, thereby enabling successful business continuity for PCA product portfolio.

-   Designed and Implemented Switch Network Health Check, critical feature as part of PCA 2.4.2 release.
-   Managed and mentored a group of team members to accomplish software design&development for PCA 2.4.2 feature.
-   Implemented and integrated monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, Fluentd/Loki/Grafana stack for Kubernetes and PCA microservice based container applications/services for PCA 3.0.1 release.

Principal Member Of Technical Staff

Working on SDN Technology for the Sonus NaasIQ/VellOS Product. Some of the work performed so far are outlined as below.
- Current project involves Integration of Microsoft Skype for Business SDN API with Sonus Vellos/NaasIQ SDN Controller (Skype for Business UC API Access), This involved a comprehensive test bed setup comprising of IDS (snort), NAT, Skype for Business components such as Edge Server, Front End Server, Back End Server, Microsoft SDN Manager. Many critical issues were found during testing of the code, for which solution was provided to the developer in order to resolve it.
- Responsible for complete end to end successful release for a critical feature - Fault Tolerant/High   Availability for Sonus NaasIQ product. This involved defining/writing Functional test specification considering the various customer deployment scenarios, understanding the underlying software architecture for the feature implementation. Successful execution of the feature worked upon within software release cycle time frame and resolving the critical issues found by working with the development team to ensure a stable and high quality software feature release
- Responsible for creating automation testing framework using python standard libraries such as unittest module, advance logging module such as dict config, netmiko and several other libraries created for automation of features supported by VellOS SDN Controller.
- Farsight App feature testing, running on Splunk to gather the network statistical data for the NaasIQ product., Openflow enabled Switch Functionality testing.
- Providing technical guidance and assistance with writing of test plan and test specification to team members.

Sonus

Principal Engineer

- Worked upon SDN-related software and hardware components; Worked upon IBM SDN VE Controller and Openflow switches. Tested the various components of IBM SDN VE such as DMC (Dove Management Console), DCS (Dove Connectivity Service) and EGW (External Gateway) on KVM and VMware ESX platforms.
- Advanced network virtualization technologies, such as Distributed Overlay Virtual Ethernet, Openstack Overlay networks using SDN-VE ML2 Neutron plugin. Deployment of Openstack Environment using IBM Cloud Manager/chef
- Automation using Python Programming language of various test cases for features such as overlay networks (shared, private, external networks), creating vRouter, and verifying communication across hosts connected to openflow switches for the IBM SDN VE unified controller using REST API, Automation of IBM SDN VE ML2 neutron plugin for testing overlay network features in the Openstack environment using Openstack REST API. This Automation involved creating automated scripts using Openstack REST API to create VM instances, Creating different network topology (Shared, Private, External Network), Create Router, and verifying of traffic across Virtual Machines
- Worked upon IBM’s System Networking Products  Top of Rack switches G8000, G8052, G8124E, G8264, G8264T, G8316, IBM Flex system Fabric EN4093 and EN4093 10Gb Scalable Switches
- Automation of IxANVLConformance testing for L2, L3 and Multicast protocols. Finding of critical bugs for L2, L3 and Multicast protocols and resolving them by closely working along with the software developers.

-  Experience handling N/W traffic equipment such as SPIRENT, SmartBits, IXIA, Agilent SAN tester
-  Experience working upon Cisco IOS, Nexus OS (for Data Center Switches) Software. Configuring Cisco Data Center MDS 9xxx and Nexus 5K/2K series switches for the purpose of system level Software, physical layer testing.
-  Solid knowledge of IEEE Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel ANSI, TCP/IP Protocol standards and specifications.
-  Created Test Plans, Test Procedure, Formal Test Reports for the purpose of feature testing, parametrical measurements and Automation testing.
-  Significant contribution providing critical design verification for highly successful Cisco Data Center products,  such as MDS 9xxx series products and Nexus 5K/2K series products that have generated revenue surpassing $1B in revenue
-  Work closely with cross-functional development engineering team, understanding related product architecture, defining specifications for emerging technology, and resolving critical software (NX OS or Cisco IOS) issues found during early stage of product development.
-  Hands-on experience with design verification of 1/10 GE, 1/2/4/8/10G FC, 2G/4G FC CWDM, 4G FC DWDM SFP/SFP+ X2 and Xenpak optical and CX1 electrical pluggable transceivers.
-  Acquired and applied solid foundations of theory and test techniques of test instruments such as oscilloscopes, JBERT, DCA, OSA, TDR and Network Analyzer.
-  Received Cisco Achievement Performance Award for meeting critical deadline for emerging technology project. The project involved debugging software and hardware related issues and working closely with development engineers
