Alison Kase
Alison Kase is an accomplished English teacher with a passion for ensuring that her students meet or exceed academic expectations. After completing her high school diploma, she studied at Mirman School and Harvard Westlake before earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Claremont McKenna College. She then continued her education at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, where she earned a Master's degree in English Education.
Alison has an extensive background in education, having served as an English Language Teacher and Tutor at various institutions including Peabody Public Schools, OISE Group, and ELS Boston-Cambridge. She has also worked as a Yoga/Pilates Instructor and SAT English/Math Tutor at Sadhana Forest and Revolution Prep, respectively.
Her professional experience is diverse, having held positions such as Chairperson of Center School's Data Team, Curriculum Writer-English Language Arts, and SAT English Teacher for Workforce during her career. She has a passion for helping students to meet ELA Common Core standards in ways that are meaningful to them. Currently, she is a 7th/8th Grade English Teacher at Somerville Public Schools.
