Lucas Vickers is a highly accomplished artist and technologist with a unique background that allows him to oversee technical development while keeping an eye on the overall product goals and factoring in design considerations. He has studied MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design and holds dual undergraduate degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology in Computer Science and Music & Technology.

During his career, Lucas has worked for award-winning design firms, been involved in multiple academic research projects, wrote financial trading software for Bloomberg LP, and was the CTO for a technology startup. His work examines the physical and digital possibilities of interaction in physical spaces. Lucas has created work for the Newark Museum, the Petach Tikva Museum of Art, the One World Observatory, Google, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, Jabil, the Timken Corporation, the National Science Foundation, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, as well as the City of Hope Cancer Research and Treatment Center.

Lucas is currently a Technical Program Manager and Site Reliability Engineer at Google. He was formerly Head of Engineering, Consultancy and Solutions at Intersection Co., where he was responsible for the technical advancement of the company. Lucas has also served as a Technical Director at Gallagher & Associates, LLC, Creative Engineer at Local Projects, and Freelancer at the Lab Interactive Media Group at Rockwell Group. Additionally, he has worked as an NSF grant developer and a research programmer at Stevens Institute of Technology.
