Liz Cedillo-Pereira is an accomplished attorney who has made significant contributions to the field of immigration law and the community at large. She is the lead Attorney at Cedillo-Pereira and Associates, a full-service Immigration and Nationality law practice that represents individuals, businesses, and government entities. Liz is a Board Certified Immigration and Nationality Law attorney and is recognized as a faculty member with UT School of Law Immigration Law conference and State Bar of Texas Immigration Law course.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied English, Liz pursued her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Later, she joined Patton Boggs LLP as an associate, but her interest in immigration matters led Liz to work with Attorney Lisa Brodyaga on the Texas/Mexico border. She then joined Catholic Charities to create a legal aide program for detained immigrants.

Over the years, Liz received numerous awards for her dedication to the legal profession and advocacy. She is an American Marshall Fellow and American Council on Germany Immigration Study Tour participant. She was also appointed to the American Bar Association Commission on Immigration. Liz co-founded the AILA-Dallas Know Your Rights project for detained individuals.

Besides her professional achievements, Liz is a passionate advocate for educational initiatives for first-generation college students and is a member of numerous civic organizations. She writes a column for Latina Style Magazine and writes occasional op-eds for the Dallas Morning News.
