Karl Reinke is an accomplished manager, high-speed digital board designer, and engineering architect with over a decade of experience. He specializes in designing embedded processors and enterprise-class switches and security systems. Karl has a stellar reputation for solving complex problems and delivering robust designs that meet five 9s requirements while staying within budget constraints. Karl's patent is a testament to his ability to tackle challenging issues that stumped fellow engineers.

Karl is a versatile team leader who has worked on individual and small to large teams delivering systems and plug-in boards. He has extensive experience in conceptualizing and taking projects from inception to manufacturing. Karl is also familiar with new design introduction procedures, ensuring that all of his designs meet international EMI, safety, and environmental standards.

In terms of expertise, Karl's strengths lie in high-speed board design, multiple processor designs, and high-speed memory designs, including DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 SDRAM. He is knowledgeable in XAUI, PCI Express, 1000Base-X, PCI-X, PCI 2.2, and SPI 4.2. Karl is well-versed in Ethernet Switching ranging from 10Mb/s to 10Gb/s, including the IEEE 802.3 compliant copper and fiber front ends. Karl Reinke received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is currently the Principal Hardware Engineer at Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. Previously, Karl held various senior engineering positions with OCZ Storage Solutions-A Toshiba Group Company, Nortel, Bay Networks, and SynOptics Communications.
