Kathleen McGarvey

Kathleen McGarvey is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Nurse Facilitator Lead for the Telemedicine IMPACT Plus (TIP) program at Saint Elizabeth Health Care. She specializes in caring for medically complex patients in the community through innovative video technology. With a rich background, Kathleen has previously excelled as a Clinical Resource Nurse at Saint Elizabeth and has held managerial positions in neurosurgery and emergency departments at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Kathleen is a pioneer in the field of Canadian Community Nursing, being among the first nurses to attain certification in this specialty. She has actively contributed to various healthcare initiatives and networks, including the Community Ethics Network, Toronto Palliative Care Network, Peritoneal Dialysis interest group, and Canadian Vascular Access Association.
