Alona Popova is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in project management and coordination, particularly in the nonprofit sector. Currently, she serves as a Project Officer at the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). In this role, Popova works closely with international partners and stakeholders to oversee various projects and programs aimed at empowering young people through scouting. Popova's expertise lies in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as public relations and communications. Prior to her work at WOSM, she held various positions in project coordination and management at several organizations, including the International Organization for Migration and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Popova is also a strong advocate for youth development and has contributed to several research studies on youth-centered issues, including education and employment opportunities. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and a Master's degree in Humanitarian Action.
