Seth Hoffman
Seth Hoffman is a highly accomplished City Manager with a proven track record of success in managing and implementing a variety of large-scale projects. With over 15 years of experience in local government, he has held various roles with Lone Tree since 2005, including Deputy City Manager and Economic Development Director before being named City Manager in 2013.
Hoffman has led several high-profile expansion, retention, and relocation negotiations for Lone Tree, including major companies such as Kaiser Permanente, Charles Schwab, Health One, and Cabela's. Under his leadership, the design and construction of Lone Tree's Municipal Offices in 2007 and the $22 million Lone Tree Arts Center in 2011 were successfully completed.
Hoffman's extensive skills in project management and leadership have also been instrumental in facilitating the funding and construction of the Southeast Light Rail Extension in Lone Tree, completed in 2019. As Lone Tree's Chief Appointed Official, he provides professional leadership for several departments, including Police, Finance, Economic Development, Administrative Services, Public Works, Arts Center, and Community Development. He implements all elements of City Council's goals and policies.
Hoffman has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Master of Public Administration in Local Government Management from the University of Kansas. He has previously worked as a Management Intern/Management Assistant for the City of Grand Junction and as a Marketing Analyst/Revenue Analyst for Sprint.
