Da Wei is a passionate scientist with a background in biophysics and a focus on innovative biotechnology to enhance healthcare.
Known for being the first to use imaging to measure cancer cell extracellular pH, Da Wei brings over 5 years of experience in cancer cell-based assays and microscopy techniques.
Skilled in cell culture, tumor targeting, fluorescence microscopy, and image analysis, Da Wei also has expertise in handling small animals, injection techniques, and tissue staining.
Experienced in synthesizing liposomes/niosomes and nanoparticles, Da Wei excels in tumor and organ imaging and analysis, utilizing various characterization and analysis techniques.
With a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from China University of Mining and Technology, Da Wei has a strong educational foundation.
Currently working as a Scientist at Alira Health, Da Wei previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Rhode Island.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Da Wei enjoys skiing, playing finger-style guitar, and working on electronics projects as personal hobbies.
