Liz Peterson is an accomplished physicist, dedicated learner and problem solver. With a Bachelor's degree in Physical Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Math, Physics, and Chemistry and an ongoing PhD in Physics at the University of California, Berkeley, Liz has pursued her passion for science and research throughout her academic career. Additionally, Liz has gathered a vast amount of knowledge from her prior roles as a Research Scientist and Senior Support Specialist at Stitch Labs, a venture-backed tech start-up. There, she worked in data analysis, customer interaction and multitasking, adapting to shifts in focus and finding innovative solutions to challenging problems. As a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Berkeley Lab and a former Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, Liz has continued to pursue research interests, working with teams and individually to contribute to the field. Liz is committed to being a lifelong learner, adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
