Garvin Reid is a highly skilled Assistant Director/Career Coach with a passion for development and a commitment to providing his students with the tools they need to thrive in today's global job market. He holds a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. With an interest in adult education, global education, college access, the anti-deficit model, and HBCU relevancy, Garvin has dedicated his career to helping students build successful long-term careers.

Garvin is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Career Development Center at New York University Abu Dhabi. He previously worked as an Assistant Director of Career Development at New York University, an Academic Advisor at New York University, and an Enrollment Management Counselor at Monroe College. Additionally, he has held positions at Chubb Insurance, Avon Foundation, Black Enterprise, and Morgan Stanley.

Outside of his professional career, Garvin is also a motivational speaker/career coach for young adults entering the workforce. He co-owns "Greid New York," a popular clothing line specializing in tailored menswear.
