Irene Wei is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with a wealth of experience in biotechnology, drug development, product launch, manufacturing, commercialization, and distribution. Wei's expertise in regulatory, quality, and compliance has made her a valuable liaison to major regulatory agencies, and she has had a successful track record with INDs and NDAs. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she has honed her skills in both small molecule and antibody-based therapies.

Wei has a PhD in life sciences from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has done research tenure at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her impressive educational background has given her a strong foundation on which to build her career.

Wei has held leadership positions at several pharmaceutical companies, including President and Co-founder at ChemSun Pharmaceutical, Inc., Head of Global Quality & Compliance at Barrier Therapeutics, and Vice President, Regulatory, Quality & Compliance at Immunomedics. She has also served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Merck & Co. and as a Clinical Research Scientist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Research Centers (GCRC Program).

Today, Wei leads Newbird Healthcare as its President and CEO. Her strong business development skills, combined with her expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, have helped make her a valuable asset to the company.
