Sampo Jalasto is an accomplished and experienced Head of Design at Idean, a prominent global experience design agency, and part of Capgemini Invent. He has over a decade of design experience in various industries like healthcare, tech, retail, automotive, finance, manufacturing, and media. His expertise lies in design research, user experience design, rapid prototyping, design management, and strategy. Sampo has studied Bachelor in Media, Web communication & design at Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

Sampo has excelled in his professional roles throughout his career, serving as Vice President, Design at Capgemini Invent, and Head of Design, Lead Designer, Senior Designer, and Visual Designer at Idean. Previously, he also worked as Game designer / Project lead at Mediakeskus Valo and Freelance Designer at Freelance.

In his current positions, Sampo leads and directs large design teams while working with his clients to develop design strategies and roadmaps. He also teaches design to young designers and students to help them become excellent designers of the future. He is a creative and visionary design leader that has an eye for design details and is passionate about designing efficient, effective, and user-focused solutions.
