Sara Garbers
Sara Wilhelm Garbers is a visionary feminist, ethicist, activist, and teacher who is committed to co-creating a more equitable and just world with others. She has a wealth of experience in pastoral leadership, spiritual formation, trauma, and personal identity. Sara's impressive resume includes various roles, such as Director of Admissions, Pastor of Connections, and Associate Director of Admissions & Recruitment at Bethel University, and Sexual Assault Advocate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Loyola University Chicago. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) candidacy in Integrative Studies in Ethics and Theology from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Sara is currently a Senior Associate Minister at Colonial Church and has previously been an Instructor at the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and Bethel University. She has a warm and collaborative approach to leadership, and this is evident in the various roles she has held in her professional life.
