Yida Gao
Yida Gao is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, investor, academic, and researcher with a diverse background in finance, technology, and management. Gao holds a Bachelor of Science from the esteemed Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He has worked in various capacities throughout his career, ranging from mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley to consulting at McKinsey & Company. Gao has also held several key roles in the tech investment space, serving as a General Partner at Shima Capital, Divergence Digital Currency, Struck Capital, and as a Venture Investor at New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
In addition to his work as an investor and entrepreneur, Gao has also been an Adjunct Faculty member at MIT, where he has shared his insights and expertise with up-and-coming business students. He is also an accomplished researcher, having worked as a Researcher at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and as a software developer and systems technician at Integrated Strategies & Tactics LLC and Johnson Controls Inc., respectively.
