Applications allow agents to provide various brochures to potential customers and to assist current customer thru various services.Perform code and security scan reviews for Sale mobile applications. My role in this capacity has been to lead an installation of a third party legal software application for the Claims Legal Department. I’ve work directly with server, security and database team members to ensure compliance with American Family’s standards.Programmed Client Server and Java based applications for the Marketing and Claims departments. Responsibilities include requirements gathering from business partners, participate in application design sessions with system architects and system test groups and developing integrations with DB2, Oracle and Win SQL databases and MQ and GlobalScape messaging technologies.Mentored developers and Business Intelligence teams on application specs for vendor integrations, and data reporting requirements. Trained service-desk members on how to support the new application using diagnostics and one-on-one training sessions.A c c o m p l i s h m e n t s:   Managed the review of Workflow vendor packages and orchestrated a Workflow vendor‘technology Bake-off’ of to determine ‘best of breed’ for an Enterprise Workflow solution. Responsibilities included the request and review of RFIs,  Bake-off requirements and test scripts, and the management summery report complete with outcomes and recommendations.   Oversaw  the  Enterprise  Workflow  System  (EWS)  application  for  the  Integrated  Claims systems (ICS) project with responsibility for interviewing and hiring contract programmers,  collecting and implementing the requirements into a RUP process through Use and Test cases. Ensured on-time completion of project scope and deliverables using routine assessments.

Senior Applications Engineer (SME)

Developed and supported software coded using proprietary inspection software used in Johnson Matthey’s high volume printed circuit board facility. Led investigative teams to determine the root cause of printed circuit board failures found during the inspection process.Researched and evaluated proposed inspection equipment including:   ROI cost analysis, training and installation costs and ‘through-put’ studies for purchase considerations.Created, trained and maintained various inspection processes and charts to ensure departmental compliance for the Johnson Matthey’s ISO 9000 certification. Interviewed, hired and trained maintenance technicians on inspection equipment.

Dimensional Engineer

Programmed PLC based equipment using Allen Bradley SLC150, GE Fanuc Series 90-30 and TI 435. Programs ranged from a basic axis control module transport system to an intricate equipment handling system using servo motors interfaced to analog and high speed counter modules, DC drive motors and pneumatic actuators. These systems also included the use of photo and proximity sensors. Designed and fabricated module handling equipment for Cray Research repair facility. Updated the electromechanical and software feature on existing equipment to make the systems more robust. This included providing documentation and providing training to other technicians and operators.Oversaw the installation of a computer module repair facility, with responsibilities that included: coordinating the facility requirements with the building maintenance group, obtaining price quotes from outside vendors and delegating facility setup tasks to technicians. Also provided weekly stop light reports to management.
