Responsible for all Sun marketing campaigns from a digital perspective, including search, social, display, affiliates, influencer activity and online house inventory.• Developed paid acquisition strategy to help grow UK audience from 13m to 30m MUVs from November 15-November 16 • Implemented focus on efficiency, improved workflows, forecasting and forward planning. CPUV reduced to sub £0.02 from a starting point of £0.17• Diversified media mix in order to de-risk dependency on Facebook - through introduction of activity on Pinterest, Tumblr, Paid Content Discovery, Native and affiliate networks• Instigated project to define which content and audiences will deliver growth and profitable revenue, and delivered roadmap of content propositions to target and monetise these audiences. Defined methodology of using TGI, BARB and Facebook audience insights• Managed The Sun’s Euro 2016 “Tournamental” campaign from a digital perspective, driving over 5m page views and over 2.5m visits to the Euro 2016 hub. It was the UK’s biggest and most reactive DOOH campaign ever.

Digital Acquisition Executive - The Sun

Responsible for the day-to-day management of owned, earned and paid media campaigns from an implementation perspective. Liaising with both The Sun, The Times & The Sunday Times marketing teams to ensure creative was correct and supplied in line with approved media plans. The role also included optimising media plans and channels used based on performance and running ad-hoc reports as well as fully detailed post campaign analysis. • Contributed to the marketing strategy that helped to acquire 637,000+ fans to play The Sun Dream Team fantasy football game (2014/15 season) by delivering a strongly integrated campaign across multiple owned communication channels.• Increased awareness and traffic of both The Sun Perks and Times+ membership websites by launching tactical campaigns across owned channels such as in-paper advertising, owned social media, digital takeovers, and mobile banners throughout the Sun and Times Mobile apps.• Developed a process for managing all stakeholders internally for both offline and online owned media, becoming the key point of contact for owned media related marketing activity and campaign planning which equates to over £40m media value per annum.• Managed contra deals with major titles in the UK and US in order to expand the reach and awareness of marketing campaigns such as TheSun’s ‘We Feel Football’ campaign and The Sunday Times ‘Rich List’ to suitable print and digital audiences, subsequently driving an increase in circulation for The Sun and total paid sales for The Times & Sunday Times.
