Dorlisa Young is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for working with children, teens, and families. She holds an MS in Publishing from Pace University and a BA in English from Spelman College. Dorlisa has worked with a variety of organizations including Friends Select School, where she served as an assistant teacher, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she worked as a family consultant intern, and WOMEN OF THE DREAM, where she facilitated a non-profit organization for girls. As the former small business owner and etiquette consultant at The Delaware Valley School of Etiquette, Dorlisa brought her expertise in grace and decorum to a wider audience, while as a certified substitute teacher at Community Classical Christian School, she provided a nurturing and supportive learning environment for young students. She has also worked in various editorial and production roles for Essence Magazine and Dow Jones.
