Tessa Xuan is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in both nonprofit and corporate industries. She studied Biochemistry with minors in International Relations & Diplomacy, as well as Neurosciences, at The Ohio State University. Additionally, she participated in the Global Gateway Study Abroad Program at Southwest University for Nationalities in Chengdu, China.

Xuan has held various leadership positions throughout her career, including Statewide Co-Director at OPAWL, Founder & Principal at WOC Group LLC, Vision for Ohio Fellow at Ohio Voice, and Field Director at Laura for Lakewood. She also served as the Strategic Lead & Director at Ohio Asian American/Pacific Islander Legislative Day and as the Executive Director at Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Her corporate experience includes working as the ERG Corporate Relations Manager at National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) and as a Products Research & Product Design at Procter & Gamble.

Throughout her career, Xuan has amassed an impressive range of expertise and skillsets, including advocacy, strategic planning, community building, corporate relations, research, and product design. Xuan is also dedicated to AAPI feminism and leadership development.
