Philippe Laliberte

Philippe Laliberte is an experienced Software Developer and Architect who has worked with various technologies including Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, and .net, to build complex web applications. Laliberte is passionate about exploring new technologies driving the evolution of the web and discovering how they can be used to build richer and more dynamic internet applications.

Laliberte studied Software Engineering at the University of Ottawa and has a wealth of professional experience in the industry. He has held various positions, including Director of Product Engineering and Senior Systems Architect at Uncharted Software, Lead Developer at Knowledge Harvesting Inc, and Head of Development at the Integrated System for the Tracking of Pathogens at Public Health Agency of Canada, among others.

Throughout his career, Laliberte has demonstrated proficiency in web application architecture, REST services, MySQL, Oracle, RUP, BizTalk, and Flex. He has also worked extensively as a Solution Architect at Statistics Canada, providing consulting expertise to their projects.

In addition to his professional experience, Laliberte has been President and CEO of the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa and served as a Store Director at Agora Bookstore and Internet Cafe.
