Thomas Gallner is an experienced executive known for his expertise in innovation, creating followership, and cross-functional work environments. As an engineer with a broad skill set in new technologies and innovations, he has earned recognition through awards such as the CES 2018 Innovation Award and the Industry 4.0 Award. With a diplomate in microsystem technology, Gallner has a broad operations background in automotive series development and production.

Gallner’s professional experience includes working in various leadership positions at Continental, Siemens, and Infineon Technologies. At Continental, he served as Head of Corporate Innovation Management and Head of Product Portfolio Management, while at Siemens, he served as Head of Product Benchmarking and Supplier Innovation. He is currently Head of Innovation Center and Technology Scouting at Volkswagen AG. Gallner is also an active lecturer at OTH Regensburg (informatics and mathematics) for Innovation Management and a member of Beirat Cluster Automotive Bayern and the Kurator Fraunhofer IKS in Munich.
