Shawn Rowan is an accomplished Vice President of Economic Development with a wealth of experience in non-profit organization management that includes areas such as government, team building, media relations, international relations, and research. With a focus on the economic growth of Palm Beach County, Shawn has served in various positions at the Business Development Board, including Assistant VP of Membership Development, Research, Business Recruitment & Expansion, and currently, Vice President of Business Recruitment, Retention & Expansion. Shawn has also worked as an Instructor at Florida State University's Department of Political Science and as a Scheduling Assistant and Staff Aide for United States Senator Bob Graham. Shawn has a BS in Political Science and International Affairs, an MS in Political Science, and an MA in International Affairs with a specialization in International Political Economy, all from Florida State University.
