Tyson Karl is a talented 3D Digital Artist at Spin Master in Culver City, California. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design, Tyson possesses a diverse skill set in modeling, lighting, motion, and sound, and has worked with software such as Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Zbrush, Mudbox, and Nuke. His portfolio has been recognized through Aniboom Animation Virtual Studio, Best of Ringling Showcases, IMDB, and local contests, shows, and auctions as a result of his remarkable organizational skills, dedication, and passion towards digital modeling and animation.

Prior to joining the team at Spin Master, Tyson worked as Digital Sculptor at Hot Buttered Elves, Inc., 3D Modeler at Arconyx Animation Studios, 3D Modeler at The Graphic Film Company/ Simon West Productions, Generalist Freelance at Friends Community Church, and Animation Intern at Critical Mass Interactive. He enjoys conceptualizing personal projects to maintain a unique portfolio and has expertise in digital sculpting, environment artistry, 3D animation, texturing, surfacing, lighting, and compositing.
