Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a key initiative of the Dubai Government focused on creating a vibrant commodities marketplace in the region. With a background in management and a strong leadership skill set, Ahmed Bin Sulayem has been instrumental in driving DMCC towards its strategic goals.

Having started as the Chief Operating Officer of DMCC in its inception year of 2002, Ahmed Bin Sulayem played a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the organization. Under his guidance, DMCC has flourished in Dubai's commodity market and has expanded to include prominent properties such as Almas, Ag and Au towers, along with the development of the iconic Jumeirah Lakes Towers comprising a total of 87 towers.

In addition to his role at DMCC, Ahmed Bin Sulayem also serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), a pioneering joint venture of DMCC aimed at establishing the region's first derivatives and commodities exchange with global electronic trading capabilities. Through his leadership at DGCX, he has propelled the exchange's growth and advanced its position in the market.

Furthermore, Ahmed Bin Sulayem is actively engaged in various initiatives within DMCC, including the Dubai Tea Trading Centre and the Dubai Pearl Exchange. He leverages his expertise and insights as the Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) to contribute to the strategic direction and management of the organization.

Prior to his role at DMCC, Ahmed Bin Sulayem served as a Director at ASTECO, where he managed relationships with governmental entities in the Emirate. With a Bachelor's degree in Management from CSUSB, Ahmed Bin Sulayem combines academic knowledge with practical experience to drive growth and innovation within the commodities sector in Dubai.
