Worked as a Teaching Assistant at a local private high school for a whole academic school year in computer science courses. Duties included assisting students with daily in-class coding exercises, helping prepare certain learning materials, grading in-class projects, and working to help shape the curriculum for future iterations while providing helpful feedback for the teacher. In-person training and occasional meetups with regional managers and other TEALS mentors took place to further enhance the experience and consistency for the regional program.
