Tim Lorat is a seasoned data professional with a passion for all things data, technology, and psychology. With a PhD and Masters in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, he has had the opportunity to work closely with some of the world's most prominent companies, including Lego, KPMG, and HTC. Tim is a results-driven data scientist with over a decade of experience in the industry. His expertise lies in workflow optimization, increasing efficiencies, expanding capabilities, creating repeatable, professional data products, and reports – mainly using R and SQL.
Previously, Tim served as Lead Data Scientist and Manager Analytics & Insights at LoyaltyOne. He also held the position of Lead Data Analyst & Research Program Designer at Chaordix, where he was responsible for designing and overseeing research programs. Additionally, Tim worked as Research Data Analyst at consultants’ firm and Webmaster at the University of Oklahoma.
