Chris Boyd is an accomplished international development professional with a strong track record in leading monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities for various clients.

Currently serving as the Director of Results and Organisational Performance at TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) in Nairobi, Kenya, a US$600m donor-funded program aimed at enhancing trade efficiency in East Africa to alleviate poverty.

He is dedicated to enhancing the MEL system at TMEA to facilitate informed decision-making and program adaptation.

Chris Boyd has a rich educational background, including an MSc in Local Economic Development from the University of Glasgow, a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies with Behavioural Sciences from the University of the West of Scotland, and further studies in Impact Evaluation for Evidence-Based Policy in Development from the University of East Anglia.

He has held significant roles in various organizations, such as Divisional Director at WYG Group, Partner at Upper Quartile, Associate Director at Slims Economic Consulting, and Senior Consultant at EKOSGEN, showcasing his extensive experience and expertise in MEL.
